“Medic update”, the latest algorithm update by Google is one of the biggest updates in recent times. The update came on 1stAugust 2018 and is fully rolled out by now. Here is everything that we know about this update.

Based on our analysis, it seems that this algorithm update majorly focuses on health and medical sites, however,Google does not confirm the specific area and call this update a regular broad and core update.

“Medic update” itself suggests that this update is for medical and health niche, however, it also focuses on those sites running on “your money your life” concept. “YMYL” are the pages that has focus primarily on events related to money and life.
